Unveiling Client-Commissioned Shinsunghwa (First Half 2021)

In the first half of 2021, I was asked to create several ShinsungHwa portraits. Among them, a few stood out for their unique presence, and with the kind permission of each client, I’d like to share them here.

The reason for showing these works is simple: the flow of energy is never the same from one person to another. Each individual carries a rhythm all their own—a pattern that belongs only to them. ShinsungHwa makes this invisible movement visible.

In this portrait, the lower left side is clearly more active than the right. Most ShinsungHwa pieces reveal balance and symmetry, but sometimes one side asserts itself more strongly, as if insisting on being heard. Here, a spiral energy form unfolds from the left energy field and stretches deep into the material realm. It suggests that the client’s left energy field is working with unusual intensity, shaping their everyday, tangible life.

The client, a Buddhist, once told me they could feel this very current of energy within themselves—just as it appeared in the portrait.

Case 2

The second portrait centers on the middle of the body, where several energy points shine with vitality. From the hands, spiral energy flows outward, hinting at an ability to create and to shape the world in tangible, skillful ways.

At the heart of the portrait, the spiritual core glows in golden light. This glow, rich yet subtle, holds the image together and gives it its presence. The golden energy doesn’t merely decorate the portrait—it defines it.

Each client has their own path to walk, their own purpose to embody. My hope is that every one of them finds the strength and clarity to follow it. And I remain deeply grateful to those who have allowed me to share their ShinsungHwa with others.
